YEARBOOK — Research shows that over 40% of volunteers (students) in WCI usually go out for lunch, what's the reason behind it?
Among the students who filled out the survey, almost half of them would choose to go out for lunch rather than stay in school. Is it because the school's cafeteria isn't good enough? Or even they just like to compete against the time and rush through eating? Additionally, few enjoy going to the library to spend their lunch time studying in a quiet space. Moreover, you'll find a bunch that prefer to sit in the hallways or the classrooms. Below is a survey that showcases the percentages of lunch hotspots by WCI students.
Next, locations to visit when going out. WCI is situated right next to some great places to eat or get a drink - Tim Hortons, Starbucks, Chatime, and more. Below show the most popular eateries from students.
Starbucks seems to be the most popular location, since students are tired and want a cup of coffee to refresh their minds. McDonald's and Tim Hortons are the second and third most famous places. They make really delicious fast food for people, especially students who are in a rush. Chatime makes really good drinks for students to purchase, like bubble tea, which is a common favourite of many student these days.
Not only that, but pizzas, burritos, shawarmas and poutines may be a consideration of what to eat; statistics show that they're common places for WCI students.
There are also a few options and suggestions from people who bring food to school: sandwiches, burgers and fruit and vegetables are the most popular ones, as they don't take too much space in lunch bags, and they're really easy to make. Snacks like chips, popcorn or crackers are also really convenient to bring.
WCI has quite the hotspots of great places to eat. Consider going out and trying a few today!
