YEARBOOK — Hey! My name is Ember, and I’m a new student at WCI.
Before coming to WCI, I went to a school in the middle of fields. Now I’m at a school in the middle of a city. The difference between the two schools is amazing, and the people I’ve met are definitely different.
I was so anxious to start my first day at WCI, but once I got into my first class, I was relieved to know that it was not as bad as I first thought. The school I came from had two stories, so I knew my way around. Although I have to mention that all the stairs at WCI are so confusing! It’s difficult to adjust to my new surroundings, but I think it will be good for me since it was tough to transfer to a new school where I didn’t know anyone for my last year of high school.
WCI has so many more programs, clubs and classes that can help you with your future. The main difference I see between my previous school is the people. People at my old school all knew each other as we were raised in small towns and grew up together. I haven’t been here long, only one day, but I’ve noticed the people here at WCI are more confident, and there are a lot more people. Everyone here has already adjusted to living in the city and the school.
In conclusion, I know that my opinion of the school might change, but being here could be good for me and my future.
